Job Description

  • Receiving, verifying, and processing payment vouchers and invoices;
  • Posting financial transactions into accounting records and ledgers;
  • Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum mean grade of C- (Minus) or its equivalent;
  • Have a Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, CPA Part I, ATD, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Be computer literate with proficiency in accounting and office applications;
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in financial record keeping;
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and professionalism;
  • Have knowledge of Public Finance Management procedures and regulations;
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;

  • Responsibilities

  • Filing and safe custody of accounting documents and financial records;
  • Assisting in bank reconciliations and monitoring of expenditures;
