Carrying out repair and maintenance works in the area of specialization such as masonry, plumbing, electrical installation, carpentry, welding, painting, or mechanical works;
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum mean grade of D Plain or its equivalent;
Responsibilities
Operating and maintaining tools and equipment used in daily technical operations;
Assisting in installation, servicing, and maintenance of county buildings, equipment, water systems, and infrastructure;
Conducting routine inspections and identifying faults for corrective action;
Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to during technical operations;
Preparing materials and work sites before commencement of assigned duties;
Maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of tools and equipment;
Recording completed maintenance and repair activities;
Supporting senior technical officers in implementation of development and maintenance projects;
Responding to emergency repair and maintenance needs within county facilities;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
